Meet the Artist

Inside My Life

I am a student at the University of North Texas, currently working on my BFA with a focus on drawing and paint. I grew up in small town Kentucky, close to Lexington. I moved to DFW in 2014, currently living in Cross Roads. My goals are to build my freelance career while teaching art in either a high school or college atmosphere. As a hobby, I would like to use my creative skills to write and illustrate children's books. Other than art, my other hobbies include cooking, reading, music, and traveling.

Inside My Style

Although painting is my medium of choice, I try not to limit myself to paint. I have been known to paint with ink, glitter, and even Elmer's glue. I like to experiment and see what effects non traditional supplies can create. Other than drawing and painting, I also like ceramics, sewing, cake sculpture, photography, and digital scrapbooking.

Inside My Imagination

My artist influences are Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, and Warhol. However, I feel that my inspiration comes from my family and memories I have with them. Art is what grounds me, but it also sets me free.
